Plus it features a wing similar to that one: /wikipedia/commons/2/29/Parabolica_McLaren_F1_GTR.jpg Since the car is manufactured by Progen and their only other car is a P1-looking supercar, I'd say it's a F1 GTR. The F1 GTR '97 is too modern for you? Your point is invalid, the S7 debuted in 2000, it's just a 3 year difference.į1 GTR body, with multiple Saleen S7 elements.

Take off the livery, and wing, and I'll be convinced.Ģ. Remember the F1 and S7 are very similar looking cars. It's probably what they were going for too, considering the manufacturer. But since it's a race car and the S7R really doesn't look like it, I'd still say it's a F1 GTR. What this conversation has made me realise is that the S7 is actually a total ripoff of the McLaren F1. It isn't right to say the S7 is an F1 ripoff, but it is definitely right to say that the car's design was at least partially inspired by it. The roof scoop, the hood scoop, the headlight shape is similar, though clearly not the same. Though, it seems rather obvious there is some F1 inspiration in the S7's design.

HURACANĭon't forget it also looks like a Mosler MT900 carcrasher88 Which is particularly good for you, because you can pretend this isn't all about your tiny, tiny package. It didn't just beat its race-tuned rivals - it serially teabagged them across every endurance grand prix in competitive motorsport. Originally designed as a road-legal confidence booster for the wealthy but poorly endowed, the Tyrus found its true calling elsewhere.
